As an employer, our model at NGA Human Resources is to maintain and grow our multi-generational workforce.

Our flexible employment model ensures we not only retain our best talent, but gives us the means to recruit and grow the talent needed to build, maintain and deliver the HR and payroll solutions you, our clients need to continue to run successful workforces as we move deeper in to the digital economy.

Our own business success stems from our own workforce; a global team of experts with years of experience and technical expertise combined with the latest technologies, business practices, and new ideas from those just entering the world of work.

Employing the workforce of the future

Eduardo Sousa (second from right) is one of NGA HR's new shining lights, based in our Granada Customer Services Centre. He only became a permanent employee of NGA HR recently, but he is not new to the business!

Eduardo joined us straight from the globally renowned innovation hub, as part of the apprenticeship scheme NGA HR has set up with the University of Granada, and others around the world. As a result, NGA HR is now one of the biggest graduate employers in the city.

This corporate / academic partnership is creating the highly skilled, innovative and inspired workforce all organisations need.

Why are we so excited about Eduardo?

Eduardo Sousa is one of the "next generation" of colleagues we see as the "future of NGA HR". He was invited to join NGA HR as an intern on the completion of his Master's Degree in Management in Business Process Technologies at Granada University, last summer.

Thirty graduates in total were awarded NGA HR internships and joined the multilingual team in Granada for six-months to gain experience in all aspects of the business.

Five, including Eduardo, were subsequently invited last December to join the business on a permanent basis, officially becoming the first new employees of NGA HR in 2018!

Eduardo is now a change management consultant. He supports the transition of internal clients to digital HR. As a digital native, Eduardo adds an essential dimension to the team. Like most organisations, NGA HR employs a mix of ages and experiences and, therefore, it's vital that the experience mix of the change management team mirrors this.

The future of work is bright

All the Granada graduates now have the opportunity to apply the theory of HR and global payroll services to the practical reality, and to learn new skills and use the tools that bridge the, often wide, gulf between these.

Our experienced team members know that no two organisations are ever the same, so no textbook theory can be finite and are already sharing this knowledge.

Eduardo said, "I feel that knowledge shared with me will help me to be successful and agile at work. I am excited to have this opportunity in an organisation as innovative as NGA HR. I recognise that I'm very lucky. I don’t have as single mentor, I have a global team of mentors. As I am from Portugal I aim to be the Cristiano Ronaldo from Change Management!"

Why does Eduardo think NGA HR is a great place to work?

The innovation at NGA HR is inspiring and the multicultural environment is amazing.

Having the opportunity to learn other languages and to have contact with other cultures is an opportunity that I might not have in other companies.

And my colleagues, they demonstrate the absolute opportunity I have to grow with the company. So many also joined as University of Granada graduate and now hold senior, responsible job roles.

Continuing our investment in the future of work

Keep a close eye on the NGA HR Blog for news of new initiatives to come from this partnership between NGA HR and University of Granada, plus our other "Investment in the Future Generation of Employees" initiatives.
